What You’ll Do:

As our Senior Electrical Estimator, you’ll play a critical role in the success of our projects, delivering accurate estimates that ensure profitability while meeting our clients’ high standards. You’ll work closely with project managers and clients to ensure estimates align with project specifications and expectations, making you an invaluable part of our team’s success.

• Develop Comprehensive Project Estimates: Prepare accurate, detailed, and competitive cost estimates for industrial and commercial electrical projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and client requirements.
• Analyze & Interpret Blueprints and Specifications: Review and interpret project documents, blueprints, and specifications to identify project scope, materials, and labor needs.
• Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with project managers, and field supervisors to ensure estimates are comprehensive, competitive, and in line with project goals.
• Assess Project Requirements On-Site: Conduct site visits to gather precise measurements and perform comprehensive takeoffs, ensuring an accurate understanding of project needs.
• Engage with Clients & Vendors: Communicate effectively with clients to understand project goals and specifications, while working with vendors to obtain competitive pricing on materials and labor.
• Drive Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to refine and enhance the estimating process, helping us stay competitive and improve project outcomes.

What You Bring:

You’re a seasoned estimator with extensive experience in industrial and commercial electrical projects. You know the ins and outs of the industry, thrive on creating accurate projections, and are excited by the opportunity to bring your expertise to complex projects.

• Experience in Electrical Estimating for industrial and commercial environments, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and installation techniques.
• Proficiency with Estimating Software and the ability to perform detailed takeoffs and calculations.
• Strong Analytical Skills to assess blueprints, technical documents, and specifications accurately.
• Knowledge of Building Codes & Regulations to ensure estimates comply with safety, quality, and code standards.
• Effective Communication Skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and vendors effectively.
• Attention to Detail & Problem-Solving Abilities that ensure accuracy and competitiveness in all estimates.
