What We’re Looking For:

· Experience: At least 6 years in commercial, industrial, or institutional settings or completion of an apprenticeship program.

· Skills: Proficient in 120/208V and 277/480V systems, with a solid understanding of NEC and OSHA standards.

· Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical theory, circuitry, and a variety of electrical tools and equipment.

· Communication: Strong verbal skills for effective interaction with clients and team members

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to oversee our industrial and commercial electrical projects from kickoff to closeout. This role requires a confident leader who can manage multiple projects, foster strong relationships with clients and contractors, and ensure safe, timely, and profitable execution.

What You’ll Do:

· Serve as the key point of contact for assigned electrical projects, ensuring each is completed on time, within budget, and to scope.

· Collaborate closely with estimators to take full ownership of projects following handoff meetings.

· Maintain strong, ongoing communication with clients, general contractors, superintendents, foremen, and other stakeholders.

· Review and interpret job documents, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements and execution plans.

· Prepare and manage proposals, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation.

· Oversee day-to-day field coordination with superintendents and foremen to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met.

· Monitor project profitability, adjust schedules as needed, and resolve roadblocks quickly.

· Participate in project meetings and represent RSR professionally with clients, GCs, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.

· Facilitate discussions to maintain project scope and address any impacts to safety, quality, delivery, or cost.

· Ensure proper permitting, enforce on-site safety standards, and maintain accurate documentation.

· Use Vista and Accubid software proficiently for tracking, analysis, and documentation.

· Lead project closeout, facilitate debrief meetings, and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.

What You Bring to the Team:

· 10+ years of experience in industrial and commercial electrical work.

· Licensed Master Electrician with at least 5 years in project management.

· Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant industry standards.

· Ability to lay out, size, and design electrical systems and controls.

· Proficient in estimating and familiar with estimating software (preferred).

· Solid understanding of contract documents, construction drawings, specifications, change orders, and permitting.

· Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

· Familiarity with AutoCAD, data cabling, and IT systems (preferred).

What You’ll Do:

· Analyze blueprints, specifications, and job documents to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.

· Consult with project managers, clients, vendors, engineers, architects, and field staff to clarify scope and resolve estimating questions.

· Prepare estimates for bid submissions, vendor selection, subcontractor quotes, and internal planning.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and industry contacts to ensure competitive pricing and dependable resources.

· Evaluate material and labor strategies to recommend the most cost-effective options—whether to self-perform or subcontract.

· Identify and communicate margin strategy and pricing approach for each project to internal stakeholders.

· Set up estimating systems and cost-tracking procedures to support accurate project review and forecasting.

· Conduct handoff meetings to transition projects to the field team (PMs, Foremen, Safety) using RSR’s project handoff form.

· Provide ongoing estimating support and subject matter expertise to the project team throughout project execution.

· Participate in project debriefs to evaluate performance, gather lessons learned, and implement process improvements.

· Prepare clear and professional electrical quotes for a variety of industrial and commercial applications.

· Ensure full proficiency in software platforms to develop and track estimates efficiently.

· Uphold all company policies, safety standards, and professional conduct expectations at all times.

What You Bring:

· Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical estimating, preferably within industrial and commercial markets.

· Solid understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices.

· Proficiency in Accubid, Vista, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.

· Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

· Familiarity with contract documents, bid processes, supplier negotiations, and scope management.

· Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a high-performance team.
